Non-Dual Meditative Self-Inquiry

In-person therapy in parts of Middle Tennessee, including portions of Sumner and Davidson counties, and virtual therapy across Tennessee.

Some people come to therapy not only because they are anxious, grieving, burned out, or emotionally stuck, but also because they are asking deeper questions. Who am I beneath all this thinking? What changes when I stop identifying with every thought, role, or emotional state? How can insight and healing actually come together?

Non-dual meditative self-inquiry is a grounded way of exploring those questions within therapy.

This work is not about adopting a belief system or bypassing pain. It is about creating room to explore awareness, identity, thought, presence, and emotional experience in a way that is both contemplative and psychologically honest. It can be thought of as an adjunct to Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) but also is a standalone practice.

For some people, traditional talk therapy can feel too narrow. For others, spiritual language can become a way to avoid emotional pain. This work makes room for both depth and grounding.

Can this be combined with therapy for anxiety, grief, or trauma?
